Could've been a nice truck for 7 grand, but you never know. Why didn't he sell it locally for 9K. I know plenty of cement finishers around here that would have given him at least 9 for it. '95 12 valve long box with only 133K on it? I'm skeptical!

ya, but if you see the truck soon enough, drive to its location and take it for a test drive and look it over, then go back to the house and bid away!!

even better, bring your laptop and wireless internet card and bid on it in his driveway!!
tell me that aint , i love technology.

I took a chance buying my 02 2WD with 108k on ebay but the guy was a dealer and I trusted him. Paid $8200 and put maybe another 2 1/2 grand in for the stuff listed in my sig and to fix the body and have the whole truck painted(friend shot it cheap). I absolutely love the truck and get compliments every day. I towed a 3000 lb trailer all last weekend antill averaged 20 MPG. I'm having trouble with the VP44 but I think once its replaced and I install the FP/boost/EGT/tranny gauges and relocate the LP I'm still ahead of the game. And I know I can always sell it for more than I paid.
So if you see a deal on ebay, go with your gut, but ask a LOT of questions.

Speaking of ebay, look what I just won.

I got out my magnifier and read the serial number on the box- sure enough, its the almost impossible to obtain "magic" LP, #4090046 offered by Cummins to fix emergency vehicles and busses only. I will be relocating it to the frame with a Vulcan kit.
