Dash Cap
Lots of reports on here about it not fitting well. Replacement dash is around $300 bucks from dealer and about 6 hours of work with a friend to replace. There is a great post here on DTR about how to do it. I'd go that route if you plan on keeping the truck for any time.
I can't believe no one is making an aftermarket dash for the 2nd gen Dodges yet....seem like a definite need and I can't imagine an injection mold could cost that much to produce.
Thanks for the input, just recently replaced the evap core and the heater core, that is probably what finished the dash off. Didn't want to have to go through that again, so that is why I was inquiring about the caps.

I've wondered about using the dash caps too but I heard somebody say they make a lot of noticeable noise from the dash like squeaking & rattling after they are installed....anybody else had a problem with this.....
Mine did squeak but that could have been my fault. You apply them with silicone so I might not have had enough on it.
