Hi, just found this site the other day. Looks great with lots of info for my beloved CTD.

I have had a crazy on/off electrical problem. It activates ignition power with the igniton full disconnected, turns the stereo on and off, leaves powers to the wipers and makes the hazard flasher click on and off. Basically it is acting possesed. After hours of tracing wires and elminating possibilites we finally found the issue with the junction box under the dash. IT has a short in the back side of it and is a big dig to replace. I wonder if this has anything to doo with 2- 98 12 valves burning down near me lately. One was a friends and says it was to doo with electrical..

Anyways I just wanted to give a heads up to anyone else suffering from this issue...check your junction box.
