workin on my wifes 2004 dodge 2500 passenger side headlight wont work dont have a service manual bought the truck used someone previously had jumped a wire in a little black junction box b hind the headlight housing what is the purpose of this box and how would 1 attempt to remove this here jewel

 

figured it out the lil box is a brite box that had a bad crimpon connection
