Cracked dash bezel

I've developed a small crack in that dash bezel you pull off to get at your stereo. About a inch long . Is there any glue or epoxy or something I can prevent it from getting any farther ?

The Bezel is a bit stronger than the actual dash. I used a plastic epoxy by Loctite I got at Napa to glue a few tabs back onto mine. IIRC its the yellow tube.

I glued a piece of ABS to the back of my gauge mount with it so the screw would countersink and look clean and it holds really well....i got the 5 minute stuff. Haven't pulled the bezel off in quite a while so I don't know how well the tabs held but it is still in place.

That will work so will JB kwikweld but it is only a temporary solution. Mine lasted about 2 yrs before the crack started growing.
LMC has replacement units that are a perfect fit.

Here's the crack in mine , I have it off ready to repair. Should I use JB epoxy? JB weld ? Drill a few small holes on each side ( so it can bond in one piece ) and fill it in top<br/>And bottom with JB and sand and touch up with black paint ? I'm open to try anything

I'd back it with a small strip of abs or suitable material so it spreads the tension out a little....

My dash is getting pretty bad, but my bezel is still good.

Sanding it will alter the texture, don't know if that bothers you or not......
