Constantly Bleeding Rear Brakes?

I never heard this one before so I thought I would write it up. For the past 6 months I have had to bleed the rear brakes sometimes 2 times a week. Never leaks fluid, just gets air into the system some how. Could NOT figure it out. I was just about ready to replace the rear wheel cylinders, & brake lines when it hit me. I noticed when I would remove the brake fluid filler cap there would be a suction! AND when it got colder I would get more air in the rear cylinders.

The cause?

The filler cap vent was clogged up from over filling the brake fluid one time. I cleaned it up, and drilled a very small hole in the side of the cap in the vent hole to assist with venting.

It's worked great ever since, and NO air in the system.
