Unhappy Seatbelt Buzzer...On Constantly.

HELP!!

This thing is driving me nuts.. Just last night the seatbelt light and buzzer started acting up. Under normal conditions, its Key on - then 5-10 secs later it times out and the lite goes out and the buzzer stops.

Now the lite stays on all the time and if the seatbelt is not pulled out of the pillar a specified length the buzzer stays on as long as the key is on.

What can I do here? Is it the buzzer or is there a module somewhere (don't say PCM ) that controls it?

I gotta fix this as I can't even let the truck warm up without the buzzer being on all the time, I am afraid of the buzzer overheating and causing other problems..

I was looking for connections for the seatbelt, but there doesn't appear to be any from the clasp.

The part that gets me is that it used to time out, now it just stays on. Is the timer built into the buzzer itself??

Untill I have time to look this over I just pulled fuse #11. Buzzer console.

Funny thing is with this fuse removed I still get the door open and lites on buzzer, just not the seatbelt warning..

I may just "lose" this fuse...LOL..
