Center seat move ahead?

Has anyone moved the center front seat ahead? I have looked at this and would like to get a couple of inches of leg room for center person in back seat. 2001 club cab.

I don't know why you couldn't do that. It's just held on with 4 bolts through the floorboard. The only problem you might get is securing the bolts on the backside with the tranny there....

You could probably make some extension bars out of 5/16" flat bar rather than drill more holes in the floor. I was just under mine and think the floor may be reinforced at the mounting holes for the seats.

I agree with sixslug but you may be able to just put some reinforcing angle iron under the cab. Again, that tranny sits pretty close to the floorboard and I can't get my hands up there to secure it if i wanted to.

If you meant QuadCab then your seatbelts are mounted to the seat. Any relocation is going to have to be STRONG to retain the stock level of protection.
