A/C Compressor Issues

Hey ya'll,
I just got back in the states this week from a deployment to Guam and couldn't wait to get behind the wheel of my truck. 4 months away....to long!
But today I turned my A/C on for the first time this year and it doesn't work.
I did a quick check this afternoon and none of the plugs or wires seem to be broken or damaged, nothing obvious out of place. The A/C compressor will cycle on for 2-3 seconds then off for 8-10 seconds and back on for 2-3 sec. It constantly keeps cycling like that. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Justin
