A/C blows from floor and thats it
For some reason on this 2001 Dodge....I turned the A/C to defroster and now it will not switch back to coming out of the vents in the dash.....it only blow from the floor.....does anyone know a fix for this issue....not really wanting to take it to the dodge place.....Thanks I'm there is a valve somewhere to switch it but can't seem to find it....??
There is a vacuum hose which runs below the cowling...odd are that it fell and burned in two over the turbo. That's what happened to me and $5.00 worth of vacuum line fixed it.
I hope that is the case.

So when you say under the cowling are you meaning under the hood close to the windshield wipers...???
Yes, the vacuum line is aout 3/16 or 1/4 and is black and is hung under the cowling by the wipers. When I adjusted the valve lash I bumped it...it fell...melted and I only had defrost.
I hope that is the problem for you too. It is an easy fix.
Good Luck
