yet another front end setup thread
Ok, so I have searched everything I can and have read the tech article from Brent, the gold certified dodge guy (specs below) I just put in XRF balljoints and trackbar, replaced control arm bushings all good and tight now. Still wanders all over the place, but is responsive so I don't think it is the steering box. Can anybody tell me where I will be best setup without adjustable upper/lower balljoints? (I would like to know before I demand these specs from the best local frame/front end shop without embarrassing myself) Can I achieve these settings without them? Has anybody run these settings? Bill? Tate?
current settings:
left wheel right wheel
caster .9 1.5
camber -.2 .3
toe 0 .04
steer ahead -.04
suggested settings:
Specifications (my personal settings for every Ram I align):
Setting Left Wheel Right Wheel
Caster 3.2° 3.5°
Camber -0.10° -0.10°
Cross Caster -0.3°
Cross Camber 0.0°
Toe Standard specs, (maybe a little out if you tow a lot, they will pull in as the front end lifts up).
