Question brake lines !

hi

well i finely have the dreaded brake line leek beside the fuel tank !

soooo, has anyone used any of the brake line kits from e bay or others ?

how about the stainless kits ??

plan to keep truck so what is everyone using ?

Most parts stores sell that copper-nickel alloy (conifer? sp?) that doesnt not corrode, bends easily by hand and flares easily even with a cheap double flare kit. I buy the rolls of it (25' I believe) and sleeve it in 1/4" rubber hose where it can't be supported, like behind the gas tank. Saves from rubbing through due to vibrations. 25' is enough to replace the rear line and the rear axle lines, which are probably next to go.

I personally would never buy any brake line kits besides flex lines at the axles.
