Brake Light stay on
Brake Light stay on
Went out this am to my truck was -28'c and my brake lights were on long enough to dran the batteries this has happened last winter only when really cold...tonite I pulled the fuse so this does not leave me stranded again! anyone had this problem?
The older 12 valve brake light switches can be adjusted as well, don't know about the 02. Reach under the dash along the brake pedal and feel for a plunger back towards the dash. Depress brake pedal with your forearm and pull the plunger out a few clicks. I've had to adjust mine twice in three years, once for brake lights and once to get the cruise control to work
Make sure you don't pull the tab out before installing. Read the instruction sheet in the bag before you decide to say "hmmm, I wonder what this little thingy is for", don't ask how I know this . . .
