body panel swap

recently purchased 96 ext cab w 8' bed.

i want to swap out the DS 1/4 panel...just wanted to see what was ahead of me. is there much to it? i can see the bolts that hold it in place. removing is probably not so difficult but installing the new 1/4...? is it difficult to line up edges, seams? are there shims required? or are these "in/out" with no issues?

thanks for any information.

If you mean the bedside skin, then you have some grinding and spot welding to do.

If you mean the front fender, there are some past threads addressing this....
