Have already replaced the resistor in the heater fan once and now it's out again. Fan still works on high but It is starting to squeale so I'm figuring it's on it's way out and that's what is blowing the resistors. Looking for any ideas on how big a pain it's gonna be to pull the motor and replace it. Along with part numbers and sources if anybody has them handy.

 

Fixed. It only took three bolts under the box to pull the motor out. A quick trip to O'Reilly Auto Parts and 59.99 later its blowing good again. Something my son forgot so remember when you are checking the blower- When the truck is turned off but in the on position, the fan will only blow air to the defrost. no vacuam ='s a default to the defrost mode (safety feature from the factory). Once you fire the truck up, the vacuam hits and everything works great.


One last question. whats the Borg Warner part number for the blower fan resistor?
