The blowby tube is on the front of the timing cover (driver's side) and exits pointing up u-bends downward and ends inside a black Nalgene bottle. Many people have relocated this bottle do a search for "puke bottle relocation" or "blowby tube relocation" and you will find others opinions on how to do it. I moved mine and now I don't smell the oil at an oil change. Also the oil mist emitted by the tube can gunk up your radiator causing ot to get too hot.

I hope this helps!

thanks geoff. the bottom of that gear housing is where the 12-valve KDP bite mark shows up and being used to that with my old truck i took a deep breath when i saw the oil residue there on my 2001. of course i had the KDP arrested on my old 12'ver. thanks again
