Block Heater

Does any one have a picture of the block heater cord and where I can find it I have never looked for mine.

I don't have a picture to send you but it is easy to find, just open the hood and it should be on the left hand side as you are facing the truck. Look in front of the intercoooler and you should find the plug in cord mine has a cover over the plug yours should be in the same place as mine as we both have 01's.

If everything is stock.....open up your hood. Your block heater male plug should be located on the passenger side of your radiator brace, just above the bumper, cliped to the radiator brace. It has a rubber boot that is there to keep the stabs clean. My plug is located inside the fuel tank door, out of the weather. Don't need a boot to keep it clean.

If you still can not find it, look beside your oil filter, that is where it comes from the engine block. Then, follow it along the cord to the plug.

I mention this cause the previous owner could have rerouted it...
