bedliner from a Chevy 74-87
Save some grief and use a spray in liner. Have you ever seen a bed that has had a plastic liner in it after the liner was removed? They do more harm than good, they will rub all the paint off the box anyplace they touch. Plastic allows any metal objects in the bed to act like a pin ball machine and they will slid all over the place. I will never use a plastic liner again. Even a better alternative would be just a rubber mat.
spray ons
the spray on it came with is wearing off. Is there an inexpensive "brush on / roller on" I can do at home. I dont see any need of using a sprayer just so I can make a bumpy finish...and I don't have a sprayer anyway.
I have been hauling some bulk coal and QP road gravel, for personal use. I find it hard to believe a spary on would hold up to sharp gravel and shoveling like a plastic liner could, but maybe they can.

Maybe
What kind of spray on are you guys using?
Maybe next time I go down that way...and you haven't all sold me on the spray-ons, I might want to buy it from you.
