Ball Joint question TSB 02-04-96

In a few days I was going to replace my upper and lower ball joints. Then I found a TSB 02-04-96 1994-1996 BR Ram pickup that says the truck with a Tack Welded lower ball joint which mine is that the lower control arm ball joint ***. must be replaced as a unit. From what I have read the new joint will not be tight enough when pressed in. This is a 1995 2 wheel drive 2500. A local parts store list a moog K7205T joint for my truck but has anyone run into this before. If I have to go that route where can I find a lower arm with ball joint other than the dealer. Just found this out a few mins. ago. Need some help here.

I'd like to know this as well, my lowers are tack welded also. It would suck having to buy 2 new lower control arms - hope that's not the case.

If you can't find them new besides at the dealership, then maybe you can find used ones that aren't welded in. Try www.car-parts.com to look for used ones.

The (mom and Pop) shop I am going to get the moog joints from said if I would remove the lower control arms they would press the new ones in. I was going to have the front end aligned any way. He said they do it all the time. I have read pros and cons to this but may try it. I have the tools to do this but he offered. If they do not fit right he will not install them. The parts guy at the dealership said for the difference in price he would try it. $510.00 for each arm or $174.00 for the 2 bottom joints. I did find the arms at carquest for $280.00 each with Moog joints which is some cheaper than the dealer. What I can't figure out is the same control arm fits 94-99 2x4 some was spot welded and some wasn't.
I would like to have more information before I do anything. I have read on the TDR where quite a few have did this and used the same arm.
