I am looking for a 31 tooth speedo gear for my 97 Dodge. Anyone have one in their toolbox to sell me?

I installed a 30 tooth and it seems to be running a little fast according to GPS. As I said in my other post - the wierd part is that the odometer is almost dead on (+1.4%) - but the speedo is off by 6%? Weird eh?

 

Just call your local Dodge dealer and get one. I think I paid under $15 for the last one I got. They will also ask you for your tire size and gear ratio, so they can get you the correct one.

 

I called a vendor yesterday before posting this and was told they no longer make this gear so I thought I would check on here since I saw reference to people swapping a 31 tooth gear out in a few posts after doing a search.

This morning I started calling around to local dealers and actually found one on the shelf. I think I have it taken care of now.
