Any one NOT like the solid steel trac bar conversion???
I am looking to upgrade to the 03 track bar asm. Anyone have any complaints about it??? I use my truck primarily for pulling my horse trailer, stock height.
I recently bought an 03 quad cab. The track bar bushings were shot. When I priced a track bar at the dealer (they say there are no bushings available) I nearly passed out. I went to a friends machine shop and we machined aluminum bushings to replace the rubber while retaining the metal sleeves that the rubber originally was pressed into. So far this has been a rock solid fix. Time will tell the rest of the story!

Thought it was a bit pricey but I should never need another track bar so why not. I also did the steering box brace as well. It did a good job of cleaning up the bump steer I had when hitting a bump at speed but didn't do much for the play in the steering. I was hoping for a bigger improvement but I think my box might be worn.
If you are lifted you'll probably really enjoy it but for stock you might not see a huge difference.
I got mine at a local shop here in Alberta.

Mines been on for almost 3 years and it been great!!!!
I might look into a poly bushing soon as I'm sure the rubber one will need to be replaced at some point, but other than that its great.

I got mine from KLM Performance and highly recommend them. I ordered it online and before the computer got cold it was sitting on my doorstep. I am very pleased with their service and will definately buy from them again! JM2C
Thuren has a track bar for lifted trucks. It says 5"-10" on the website, but it works fantastic with my 4.5 Skyjacker lift and 37" Toyos! Next is a Borgeson steering shaft...
