I did get it all working, I think one of my switches was bad. I ended up adding the factory steering controls later on to control my aftermarket radio. I had to get a different clockspring for that and I used the trim piece off a Durango that I at the junkyard so I had to splice the wires but I got everything to work. For the cruise control, all I did was install the servo, clockspring and switches and it worked. Does your Cruise light come on?

No cruise light is on now. Mine is a 5 speed and as such should not need a servo. I have checked voltage at the clock spring and it was 5 volts and changes to different voltages when I press the different cruise buttons.

So some computer is supplying the 5 volt reference voltage and the buttons are working. Now I have checked for codes. The PCM has a code for Cruise servo circuit open. I did not write down the P code. The ECM has no codes other than the code for code in companion module. According to my reading, on manual transmission trucks, the ECM does all the work for cruise. I have access to a factory scan tool (DRBIII). There is no option to turn on the cruise. I am now looking at 3 different options.

1 Trace the wiring back from the Cruise switches and make sure it is spliced in such a way that it does go to the ECM as per the wiring diagram.
2 Go by the Dodge dealership and see if there is a different flash for the ECM that will enable the cruise control.
3 Install a servo like the automatic has and see if that works. I did check and the plug is down under the drivers battery where it should be.

From what you are saying the power is coming from the PCM through the clock spring through the steering wheel mounted controls and back through the clock spring proving that part works. BUT you still have an open circuit, I would suspect that it is the other set of normally closed contacts that tells the PCM that the brake pedal is NOT depressed. With the key on and the cruise on you should have power on 5 of the 6 contacts to that brake switch without the pedal being depressed.

I will check power at the brake switch how ever, you can see the brake pedal input at the PCM with the scan tool. I will double check it though.
