ABS pump help

My ABS pump will not stop running even after the engine is shut off. I had to pull the ABS fuse to make it stop. Is there anything I can do to fix this issue? Or does it need to be replaced? Any ideas how much it would cost for a replacement? Any tips and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I asked the same question with the same problem a few days back with no reply, think the pump is around $500 guess you got to buy the whole assembly, and only from salvage or the dealer, also only fits 1 ton if I remember correctly (had a yard look it up)

Same thing happened to me almost two years ago. Was driving home from work one day and suddenly got brake light and ABS light. When I got home and shut down the truck the pump kept running and I had to pull the breaker to get it to quit. Been that way ever since. Took it to the dealer for some other stuff and had them diagnos it while I was having the other work done. Turns out, at least in my case, that the CAB (Controller Anti-Lock Brakes) went out. It's easy enough to replace, just plug a new one in. Only problem is the thing costs an arm and a leg. One of these days I'm going to get off my *** and hit up a junkyard for one.

Yep. Called the dealer yesterday and they want $1000 for the pump and the electronic part ---- they said I have to replace both if one breaks. I guess I'll be hunting for one in the boneyard.

$1000 sounds about what they quoted me, but they never mentioned having to replace the pump, just the controller. I don't see why you'd have to replace both.

If you find a boneyard that has more than one, shoot me a PM. Can't find any near me.

Yep. We're talking about the same thing. The electronic stuff on top of the pump under the hood.

Found a guy in my neighborhood that has a 1998 12V Dually that he's parting out and still has the ABS pump and module in the truck.

Does anybody know if this pump will work on my 1999 Dually?

Otherwise, where or who can I go to to get the info from?

thx
