ABS & Brake lights??

ABS & Brake lights??

a friend of mine has a 95' 2500 4x4 ctd, w/ a 5 spd. a while back his ABS & Brake lights came on , i put a new ABS sensor (the one on top of the rearend) in it & the lights still won't go out, any ideas???? thanks, dusty

Try the micro switch on the brake pedal under the dash. If it is out of adjustment it will cause the brake lights to stay on. Good luck<br>Bob

I had a similar problem on my 1995 2500 a few months ago. It ended up to be caused from a worn out vacuum hose coming off the engine and going to the brake vacuum. Hose would partially collapse under pressure. Worth checking out. ;D

clean with contact cleaner or wd 40 the connector going into the sensor then pull the negative terminals to the battery wait 30 min or so and put them back on and computer should reset it
