abs and brake light on

I have had these lights on for a wile. I have checked vacuum , replaced rwss checked wiring and no luck. The truck only has rwal has any one had an exciter ring go bad. I have not pulled the diff cover yet but thought i would ask first. Also the lights don't come on till 40mph but speedo works fine and no cruise control.

IIRC those lights won't go off on their own on that model. They have to be turned off.

i have scanned the obdII and no codes in the ecm or pcm

DID YOU TRY FLUSHING OUT YOUR BRAKE FLUID AND ADD NEW? HOW IS YOUR VACCUM SWITCH AND ABS SWITCH DID YOU CHECK THEM OUT?

Did you do the pads recently? If so, the system might need to be bled. Or they gave you the wrong pads. Mine did that when I changed front pads. I drove around for a while with the lights on, then bled the brakes, the lights went off.

replace abs sensor on rear diff have done this on 4 different trucks with same problem

ONLY the DRBIII can get access to clear or reset the ABS module on your truck.

Those codes won't be in the ECM or the PCM.
