Umm, that would be the little pointer thingy that tells you what gear you are in providing you run a slushbucket trans.

Back in the nineties, I owned a 1964 IH 1-ton 4x4. Had a steel dash, textured as thought it was vinyl or leather.

To pop it off, you had to take off six screws and slide it forward and up. Took all of a minute and a half, and everything was exposed.

One of the many things I loved about that truck. Bloody heck on the drunk driver who creamed it.
