Hi all I was wondering if anyone knows if dodge offers a kit to install factory keyless entry to my truck. If so do you have a part number? Thanks in advance Matt

 

Don't believe they do. Have you looked at an aftermarket system, they are pretty cheap, probabally cheaper than a factory one, it they make one.

 

Yea I have looked into after market but I hate cutting the factory wiring seems like it just creates a problem for latter. I looked on mydodgeparts and they have a reciever and a transmitter listed for replacement parts but I don't know if that is all I would need.

 

I think that you can still buy the receiver and the transmitters, but the wiring harness adapter is no longer available. Seems that is what I was told when I asked a couple of dealers about it. Parts are expensive, too, like $200 for the receiver and $100 for the transmitter.

 

I have it on mine, it was already on the truck when I bought it, along with an alarm system...

I dont use either, I only activate the alarm if I have something of value inside while I go in a store or something...

I wish it had remote start instead
