A '96 12V should have a 47 RE not a 47 RH.

The shifting is controlled differently from each other.

So you changed the PCM and the wiring that is different from the '94/'95 and the '96/'97, when the swap was made?

Or just threw a '95 RH transmission, with some new parts where a '96 RE was and are now having problems?

Yes sir I changed the PCM an wiring because the plugs in the transmission are different I have a 96 12 valve I bought a 94 12 valve that it was complete so I swapped everything over cuz I wanted the hydraulic transmission not the electronic transmission

Awesome I just wanted to make sure that was the case. The '94/'95 PCM have different style plug ins as well.

I am no auto transmission rebuild expert so I do not know what could have gone wrong internally, so I can not offer any great insight.

I just knew that a 47 RH in a '96 would require more parts and swapping than just the transmissions.

If you don't have a transmission overhaul/service manual, get one. Putting one together blind, you will miss very important details. One thing you need to verify is that your 47RH is actually from a diesel and not from a V10. A "professional overhauler" did that to me when I did my A518 conversion. Had first gear, reverse, then it self-destructed. It had to be completely overhauled and converted for diesel application.

The only difference between the 47rh diesel and v10 versions is the governor weights and the torque converter. Nothing to cause the OP's issue.

As far as OP's issue. I would drop the pan and oil, pull the valve body and see if you may have installed something wrong.
