rebuilt tranny gear shift moves alot

I had my tranny rebuilt about a year half ago and ever since they rebuilt it in 6 gear you accelerate the gear shift pulls down and wen you let out he gear shift comes up never pops out and have put prob 40 000 miles since rebuild just curious if anyone else had that happen the shop said they never seen one do that

It's hard to help you without know the year and model of transmission that you have...

If it didn't do it before the rebuild and started after the rebuild it could be as basic as not reinstalled properly...

oh sorry 04 6 spd its not a problem i was just curious of y it may do that sinch the rebuild the tranny has been out and put back in to warranty the clutch out but may have done the same mistake twice lol

Just had my 6sp done a couple months ago and noticed the same thing.....never noticed it before but it seems normal so I'm not even gonna worry about it.
