A guy I work with has a 95 2500 reg cab, He say's he gets a puddle of water on the passenger side floor buy the door jam if it rains hard or he pressure washes it. I adviced him to get some body to hose it down and for him to check for leaks at the same time he has had no luck finding the water leak any ideas were it might be coming from.

 

Most times it's the third brake light, top rear of the cab. The water usually flows to the front pass side without getting much else wet.

 

Does he have the roof marker liights, If so check them. Mine leaked until I removed them and sealed them with clear silicone sealer. Also have him check his mirror mounts . it could leak around it and down the screws , this would put it on the inside of the door and the back side of the door panel where it could run down to the door jam. This one is iffy though.

Have him check for a wet trail under the seat to see if its the 3rd brake light as infidel said.

Also check closely around the front winshield as this can leak down the inside firewall.


Hope this at least gives some ideas.
