Smile 7 pin trailer connector

Hi Guys I had to get a new connector for my truck ... I got one to replace it but it seems that the wires were not installed per the colors as the plug says .
Should I wire it like the plug has the colors and match them to the spot .

Thanks

Greg

Keep everything the same setup as original, those printed on colors on your new plug are not right.

With a 7 pin you can't go by color. To many different styles, I just did one last weekend where black went to white and puple/white went to green etc. Most are not that bad but you always go by the function of the pin vs. the color of the wire with a 7 pin.
