Could someone tell me exactly where I can find if "53" is on my block. I got underneath a vehicle last night that I am interested in and could not find it, it was getting dark. 2001 Dodge automatic

 

Look at the front bottom corner on either side of block. Basically under the oil filter on passenger side AND/OR under VP44 on drivers side. My 53 is on both sides. I have heard of some only seeing it on 1 side. It's over an inch high if you have it. If you don't see it, you probably don't have one. Most look on the drivers side first.
