3rd Gen Center Caps on Aftermarket Wheels

I need to know if it's possible to run 3rd gen stock center caps on some 16x8Eagle Alloy aftermarket wheels. I'm sure they directly won't clip on but is it possible to make them?

They clip to the lug nuts, don't they? It depends on the wheel's design - they need to sit down far enough to snap onto the lug nuts. (assuming you use the OEM style nuts.)

They won't stay on 2nd gen mags, either.
I'd bet if you got some longer lugnuts and the wheel isn't too crazy in design around the hub they would work.

Me too. I like my third gen 17" a little better than my 2nd gens. They 'll look even better when I put Toyo's on it. THe Michelin's are wearing like iron so it'll be a while.

Make sure the caps are on really good so you don't throw one off at speed, it buggers them up pretty well when this happens.

A guy from church gave me his 17's lugnut and center caps from his 3rd gen. I put the new lug nuts and center caps on my Eagle Alloys last night and they look good. I'll post up pics soon...

That's because the previous owner ripped it off once the corners started peeling. So I took a 3M eraser wheel to the left over adhesive... One day I will put some more new black vinal sticker on it, but I refuse to $65 for one side from the ***********.

I would just paint them on.

Not to steal the thread but do you have a lift/levelling kit under there? It looks good and I am considering a levelling kit.
