will ford wheels fit a second gen? i have a first gen and am putting second gen alcoas on my first gen an they fit fine. the question i have is my first gen wheels fit the rear fine but they dont clear the calipers on the front, how to i resolve this? remeber my trucks a 2wd

 

i think the center hole is smaller on the ford

 

At some point in the last few years, ford went to a b a s t a r d stud circle of 170 MM. Who knows why! Just as smart as the seven lug wheels on the f250's

Dodges have an 8x6.5 lug pattern im pretty shure all 8 lug wheels will fit except the superduty ford wheels they have an 8x170 lug pattern. Ive seen people grind a little off the calipers to get wheels to fit on newer trucks with 18s factory putting aftermaket 17s on ect but are yours not clearing the calipers or is the offset of the wheels different you might could try some spacers????

 

Ford from 99 and up will not fit. The older ones will.
