what clearence lights come on a 2001? i got the ones that are held in with 3 screws from the dealer but i thought it was suppose to be the newer lower ones that are held in with just 2 screws. understand or do i need pictures?

 

Mine have 2 screws. I ordered mine by VIN # from the dealer.

 

i put sum on my 99 that have the 2 screws, i think that the ones w/ the 2 screws look better than the others.

 

All of them from 94-02 install with 2 screws i don't know what you got with 3 screws.
The 94-97 lights are taller and taper to the rear kind of like a triangle.
The newer ones that would be correct for your 01 are lower and kind of a rectangle in shape with rounded corners and curve with the roof line .
Both of these will bolt on with 2 screws and the space between the screws is the same on each light style.

i got the ones that kind of taper in the back and are really high up front like a silly looking triangle... aparently i got the wrong ones and i should have gotten the lower rectangular ones that look better. i hate ppl behind the parts counter that dont know what they are giving you

 

You must have gotten some for a truck from the mid 70's if they mount with three screws and are shaped like that is the base separate from the light ??

The ones you want are 1 piece with the 2 screw holes and the bulb socket hole in the bottom.

You can get it as a kit from the dsteeler you get the 5 lights and bulb sockets along with all the wiring and a mounting template + directions.
