1998 12 valve VIN decoding
I don't know how i am going to choose one , i am going to look at both of them hopefully on friday.
I am kind of leaning towards the manual tranny one, because it has less miles, and it is decked out a little more, 215 pump , etc. But i drive int he city 90% of the time , and the auto would be alot easier on the body ( my knees get sore after about an hour of stop and go in the 97)
i guess i will go see both of them and decide, i am taking my digital camera with me, so expect pics, but not until saturday , i am leaving my apartment at 5 30 AM in hopes of being there before noon, then drive back to the apt , pick up my cousin from the university , and head for home, another 1.5-2 hours ...

Actually, If you dont get a 12V now chances are you wont get one later. And wil have to do a p-pump conversion or 12V transplant.

I am going friday , and i plan to choose one of these trucks, I like the 5 speed, it would suit my needs , but the ol 5 speed is hard on the legs in the city. But the auto costs $$$$$$$$$ to hold the power i'll be looking for.
I'll see which one i like more when i get there
