I believe he is asking about the 09-10-11 steering conversion from inverted Y to the T style. It changes it from the inverted Y to the T style. It is significantly beefier and does not allow the toe to change as the suspension cycles due to the design.

I have purchased one for my 01 (tre's need to be replaced anyway) and the research I have done shows it to fit on an 01 with no issues I just havent had a chance to put it on yet. However for 99's and previous there seems to be some mixed results from what I have seen. Some say it fits, some it doesnt, some say it will if you do a bit of drilling. I thought there was a late 90's version of the inverted y to T steering as well that may be an option.

If I can rememebr to when I get home I will dig up an old thread that has several links in it to a few different forums that were talking about it and there were a lot of questions and info about the later 90's trucks.

I just did the 98-99 HD set up a few weeks ago and love it. Just in case you end up not being able to go to the 09 stuff.

Actually should be 2000 up............ Pretty sure the tie rod end taper was changed that year. Wish someone had both pre and post knuckles we could measure.

The only thing you need to watch for on 16" rims the bolt on the outer tie rods just hits the rim needs to be trimed a zip disk works fine.

Must depend on the year of the 2nd gen...I'm guessing..Didn't have the problem with the tie end hitting the rim...But had to cut about 3 inchs off the bar that attacked to the steering box...Just a little to long..Heard guys had to do the same cut..
