Need a little help here guys and gals. I got into my truck this morning and it would not crank. When I turn the key everything seems to be working like normal, but no cranking. I checked the fuses and they were all OK. (in dash and under hood) I put my test light on the solenoid and there is no juice going to it. Any thoughts on what to check test? Right now I am just putting it in neutral setting the brake and using a screwdriver to start it

Can you wiggle the shifter and make it crank?

 

Good thought, but its a five speed. I figured bufore I went under the dash for the clutch switch I would see if anybody else had the problem and a simple fix.

 

isn't there a switch on the clutch pedal?
