Where to get a good vp44.
Where to get a good vp44.
I lost the vp in my 2001 last weekend. the lp was week no fp guage you guys know what happens. So im in hte market for a new vp. Thinking of going with blue chip diesels special x pump. I know on the site it says 2 to 3 mpg and around 20 more hp. It also says it has a steel bore instead of alum. bores
I there a better place to get a good vp pump that has been rebuilt right? I dont want to replace it with a junk stock unit. I will be adding a good lp and definatly a fp guage which i should have done when i bought the truck.
I have read about hpvp's and dont think that is a good route to take
Any guidance would be appreciated
thanks in advance
Garrett

Dozer I am not at all intent on spending big money but i would rather spend a little more and get a pump that is going to last. Belive me I would rather spend less with the way things are looking with the economy. Thanks for the link Jonnh how many miles do you have on your new vp?
