what happens

what happens if i unhook the map sensor and run it will this effect my baby i herd of a guy that did this he said that he got a lot of black smoke but i ran great

I did it to my friends andit made smoke but that was from the 70 fueling box. I don't think it wil lhelp a stock truck much. It will throw a code.<br>DM01

Mine already has the MAP sensor code. I'm going to try that tomorrow. More smoke is good. ;D I don't think it will hurt the performance. The computer is still sensing full throttle so it is still throwing full fuel in, right?

Anybody know what code it thoughs? Does it just help the smoke level? ;D Or does it give a little more kick to the ol CTD?

Why would you run without it hooked up?<br>If you want more kick- buy a box or injectors IMO
