I changed my front brake pad's today and found a spacer behind the right front tire. What is it and what does it do? I think it is for the aligment or some thing? Any idea's?

 

Had them on both my '99 trucks. Best dealer explanation was a "brake pull correction" device :. Just leave it there and don't worry 'bout it! Yeah, I know, me too.

 

Ive heard of this before.<br><br>I understand that a possible fix to brake pull was to add in this spacer you found.<br><br>Ever since I put in my leveling kit, my truck pulls to the left when I apply the brakes. The shop that put in the lift said to bring it back and they would install a spacer on the right front.<br>This sounds like the same thing you have.<br><br>Rich
