Debatable.

My ip just went out and dodge said no warranty left. Although warranty manual says the cummins 5/100000 starts at end of the 3/36k dodge says it starts at the trucks in service date (mine was 2-2-02) Some claim to have fought and won the 5/100000 battle but I couldn't after several conversations(some heated) with dodge reps. Wish I had a better reply but this topic has been subject to alot of debate and probably different results from dodge.

You probably have the 3 year warranty on the truck so that is long gone. The CTD engine warranty is 5 years/100K so, depending on your registered in service date, the engine could be still covered since you are only at 72K.

DaimlerChrysler replaced the VP44 on my model year 2000 Cummins/Ram at six years, ten months, twenty-one days/130,737 miles. How I did it is documented on this page.
