warranty on LP
For the past 2 weeks my fuel pressure gauge(mechanical) has been working overtime. Some days I've been getting 4psi @ idle and 0psi @ WOT and other days 14psi @ idle and 8psi @ WOT. It happens durning highway driving and stop and go doesn't look like theres any pattern. I think my LP is on its way out but my question is how do you convince the dealer of this?? I don't wanna get stuck and get towed to a dodge dealer plus
my rig is still under warrenty so I don't wanna shell out the money if DC will pay.
thanks for the help!
also if I am getting 0psi @ WOT how does my rig still run with no fuel pressure???

This topic has been discussed in the majority of threads on this site. I will just tell you that the LP is covered by the Cummins 100k mile warranty. Just take it in and tell them it just doesn't seem to have the power it used to. One of the first things they will do is perform a flow test on the LP.
