i have a 24v here that looses its prime after it sits for a while.. the first thing i looked at was the overflow valve thinking it was stuck open and it is just enough that it wont hold the fuel from running back.. the one concern i have before ordering one is the bleed hole they have on the OFV, it seems to me that even if the ball would seal perfect that air bleed hole would alow the fuel to flow back anyway.. am i looking at this correctly? if this is the case the OFV isnt going to fix the problem is it?

no, that is the only thing i have checked so far, i haven't had time to look at it again..

 

it only starts to bypass at 14psi, you have an air leak somewhere

 

Did you install injectors or changed fuel filter recently? Had issue with an injector I didn't properly seat and it would lose prime overnight. Hard start in the morning.

Buddy had similar issue after changing a fuel filter. Air is in your system somehow.
