In the morning now I am hearing a noise that is comming from the injection pump. When the truck is hot it goes away. It sounds like fuel moving eratically or if you pushed water out of a syringe at high speed. My fuel pressure gauge reads 15 psi. Anybody had anything like this? Thanks T

 

How do you know the sound is coming from the IP?

 

Its is not coming from the injector lines. If you lift the hood up while at idle its seems very obvious that it is comming from the ip. The truck runs fine. No codes, I guess maybe I should start saving just in case.

 

My guess would be power steering pump. It's right below the VP44. You might try changing the power steering fluid and putting a synthetic in it...
