vp44

Anyone have removal/installation instructions for the vp44? Any special tools required?Most economic place to purchase one???????

You need a "T" puller to pull the gear from the shaft, and a flex socket to remove the inboard mounting nuts. Can't think of anything else.

not exactly sure what a "t" puller is. Will a bolt and grip puller ( hormonic balance puller) work?

A harmonic balancer puller should work fine.

Thanks for all the help, a rebuilt VP44 from CumminsStuff and my wallet hurting alot. My ol' grey goat is just what she used to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
