VP stuff

lift pump went out, had it at a dealer and they changed it, there was the 0216 code in there, they said there was only a code for long crank time, but they lied, i checked them before i brought it in. drove 1600 miles home, brought it to my dealer, they hooked up the computer and the 0216 code was there, they erased it and told me they would do some checking on it, they called me and told me to bring it in, i called to see what the progress was, they said it was ready to be picked up, the code did not return and there was nothing wrong with the truck. <edit>????? "can ya tell i am gettin ticked?"

Some guys have had the kiss of death code for 15k miles without a problem. Who knows how long your's will last or what caused it. I'm told that a restriction in the fuel line could throw the code.
