VP part number
VP part number
Can anyone please verify if what I have is a correct part number for a VP-44 out of a 99 model year. Cummins 394613503004...or...Bosch 0470506011 I think. Should this fit in the same model year without a problem?

As far as I know, a VP-44 out of one Dodge truck should work in another...as long as an ETC pump isn't placed in a ETH high output.

Would an HO pump work in an ETC? I just want to make sure those numbers are consistant with ISB engines in Dodge applications. I believe I'm looking at a 99 ETC pump with those numbers. Thanks...this is my first post too.
Re:VP part number
I guess all I really need to know is whether a VP44 for a Dodge application could end in 011 (Bosch part #). Maybe the pumps ended in this before the 027 and 028 came out distinguishing the HO and standard pump.
I think what I refered to as the Cummins # is actually the Bosch serial # in order of production. I think.

That CTD2500 guy...he's pretty good ain't he? 8)

Curiosity got the best of me and I braved the extremely cold air to find out. I'm glad to be back in front of this warm puter!! One things for sure, if that kind of Bosch information is on the internet...I'd like to know where. I searched under everything I could imagine to find bosch part numbers.

By the way, are pumps that end in 011 early units? Is this right?
