vp-44 pressure

I think the shops say that 5-12 is ideal!!!
Too much can leak pasr the timing piston and hurt performance and reliability.
some get away with the higher pressures for a while but why when the pressures heat the fuel which is detrimental???
some say they run as much as 22-26.
No reason for it in my opinion.

I have blown 3 at 25-30psi. one went 25k miles, one went 10k and one went 8k I am now an advocate of a steady 15psi. the good news is the seal that pops is replaceable and my pump guy gave them to me for free......yours might charge you 1K
