what are signs that the vp-44 is failing? i found an overboost code and my guage says im only making 11psi, and 18 with the BD boost elbow could the guage be faulty?, the truck starts runs great every day and everytime i turn the key, i replaced the lift pump 8 months ago and the vp-44 was replaced a year and a half ago by the previous owner.

 

Gauge sounds faulty. If performance is normal and fuel milage normal, be happy.
